Isla Del Leyendas: Part 7

Danielle and Katherine had only just reached the big room with the legendary statues when two more lit up, Latias and Latios, and Greg, Darius and Faith came into the room, behind them came Alakazam and floating in midair, was Ash, Ash’s Pikachu and Donphan following close behind.

“Ash!” Danielle rushed over as Alakazam led him down by the Lugia statue. “What happened?”

“He was in pain when we found him, we came from a different direction, Greg led us back here, pretty much dragged the whole way by Ash’s Pikachu.” Darius said as his girlfriend reached into her bag and pulled out a Pokeball. “I owe my good health to Faith’s Chimecho, so I’m not surprised someone else was hurt in that fall.”

“Chimecho!” She called, the Psychic Pokemon came out, and floated around her.

“Chime, Chime.”

“Use your Heal Bell please.”

“Chime.” The Pokemon responded, and used it’s Heal Bell, the pain vanished from Ash’s face, and it looked like he was merely sleeping, Pikachu and Donphan relaxed, and Danielle stopped panicking. Instead she frowned.

“Kayla told him to come back if his leg got too bad.”

“It wouldn’t’ve been easy to do even if he could’ve, that hallway seems infested with Ghost Pokemon, all intent on stopping you from getting too far, I think Ash had a run in with one, ‘cause I saw a Thunder attack, that had to be from you, Pikachu?” Ash’s Pikachu nodded. Darius smiled.

“Wait, Kayla, the Vaporion and Ninetales girl? She was with you?” Greg asked, looking around, “Where is she now?”

“She went that way.” Danielle pointed towards the other doorway, “But that was before the first rumble.”

“When whoever is led down comes round, it would probably be a good idea to follow her.” A new voice came from the doorway Danielle, Ash and Kayla had come through to reach this room and all bar Kyogre and Groundon’s eyes lit up. Everyone turned around defensively.

“Iason, Juni, Hayley, George, Artemis, Sam, Judy, Raven, Rex.” Darius nodded, everyone relaxed as all bar four of the missing trainers walked into the room, led by Iason.

“What happened?” Iason asked, nodding towards Ash.

“He was hurt from when the floor gave way under us.” Danielle spoke first.

“But he passed out in one of the corridors when I tried to help him.” Faith answered. “So we brought him here and got Chimecho to use Heal Bell.” Iason nodded.

“Where’s Kayla, Brendan, Miko and Neil?”

“You know their names?”

“I may not have fought against anyone, but I pay attention to the matches in the Battle Lounge, and we have lived on the same cruise ship for nearly three weeks.”

Ash groaned and sat up slowly, looking around confused for a couple of minutes. “What?”

“Hey Ash, how’s your leg.”

Ash frowned and tried to move it, everyone could see he was preparing himself for pain. He was shocked to find that he could move it without trouble. “How?”

“Thank Faith and her Chimecho.” Greg said, pointing towards the girl and her Pokemon.

“Thank you.” Was all Ash got out before he was glomped by Pikachu. “Hey pal, sorry to scare you like that.” Ash got to his feet and looked around, “Kayla’s not back yet?” The others shook their heads.

“We were waiting for you to come round so we could look for her, Brendan, Miko and Neil.” Iason told him. Ash nodded.

“Let’s go then.”

Two down, seventeen to go.

The powers of Kyogre and Groudon’s Chosen now belonged to him.

The stupid Trainers had walked into the Shrine of their own accord, and what was better, fifteen of the remaining seventeen had been located by his Ghosts, and what was the best news, Lugia’s Chosen would be easy pickings since he was alone and already injured.

Gengar passed through the floor, the other two had been located, the Chosen of Ho-oh and of Raikou were stuck between a Dead End and a cave in…

He growled, he couldn’t allow the two to die…

He would have to intervene…

A Shuppet came through the wall, with the news that the other fifteen were heading down to find the others.

Wait fifteen?

They’d joined forces… and if Lugia’s Chosen was still injured, the other Trainers would protect him now…

He wasn’t sure if them grouping together made his job easier or harder…

It certainly made it quicker.

He gave his Ghosts his orders, get the Trainers to rescue the two trapped ones, using whatever means necessary, then lure them this way.

One way or the other, the remaining nine powers would be his.
