Before this story starts, be warned it was written about 7 years ago, actually has an end but I planned on rewriting this a very long time ago so I could continue the series. It's set just after a fic that I took down ages ago because quite frankly I was embarrassed of it, but I want to play with the next book in the series and I felt guilty playing with it until this story was up somewhere so...here you go.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ash
Ketchum and Pikachu were fast asleep in their cabin. Having won tickets for a
cruise, they’d spent all day in the ships Battle Lounge, fighting in a
tournament where the winner stayed on, Ash and his Pokemon had lost their
twelfth match to a girl he had been certain he recognised from TV, and she was
current champion of the ship.
Pikachu’s eyes opened, and he looked at his
trainer, Ash was talking in his sleep again, from what the electric mouse could
pick up, his trainer was going through the battle with that Kayla girl, the one
who’d beaten them in their twelfth battle of the day. The Electric mouse smiled
and went back to sleep, his trainer had been proud that they’d managed to win
eleven fights, but by the time the twelfth had begun Ash and his Pokemon had
been so tired, that they hadn’t lasted long.
Kayla Juno and her Vaporion were sat
outside, there was only five days left on this cruise, the next stop bar two
would return them to Vermillion
City which was their last
stop on this cruise. She had a feeling they’d be dragged back into the Battle
Lounge tomorrow, though the only fight she wanted was a rematch against that
Ash Ketchum boy, she was certain that fully rested and recovered, him and his
Pokemon would give her a match to remember.
She leant against the railings, and looked
over the side. The Pokemon that had been following them ever since Ash Ketchum
had gotten aboard was still there, the huge white and blue Pokemon that hadn’t
surfaced once but she was certain it was there, she’d seen glimpses of it every
night. She was certain it was a legendary, one that she’d seen before on the
news, a Lugia, but she could’ve been wrong. Whatever it was she wasn’t going to
get beaten up by it tonight.
Kayla and Vaporion went inside, she’d get
some sleep now, and in the morning she’d be fresh and ready for the Battle
Lounge. “Goodnight Lugia.” She whispered as she shut the door behind her, just
in case.
A
man hidden in the shadows could’ve laughed it was so easy.
Aboard
this ship were the trainers chosen by Legendary Pokemon;
Iason
Proud, Rayquaza’s Chosen One,
Juni,
Hayley and George Kiro, Regirock, Registeel and Regice’s Chosen Ones,
Katherine
Pope, Suicune’s Chosen,
Miko
Kazasuki, Kyogre’s Chosen,
Neil
Tate, Groudon’s Chosen,
Brendan
Ford, Raikou’s Chosen,
Greg
Path, Entai’s Chosen…
The
list went on, Mew, Celebi, Jirachi, Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres, Latias, Latios,
and ended with Kayla Juno, Ho-oh’s Chosen, and Ash Ketchum, Lugia’s Chosen.
The
next stop on this cruise was Isla de Leyendas, the
Island of Legends, where he knew if he could gather the trainers in the temple,
he would be able to gain the powers of each chosen of the legendary Pokemon,
possibly even capture the Legendary Ones himself. Just a few more hours, then
the world would be his, he could wait a little longer.
